With the announcement that George Peck, the Oxford School of Drama’s Founder and Principal, will retire in August next year, the Board of Trustees is seeking a new Principal to build on his legacy and lead the School into its next phase of development, maintaining the reputation for the excellence of its student training and promoting it as a leader in its field. The Oxford School of Drama is one of the UK’s leading drama schools. It runs accredited vocational courses to train actors for the profession and accepts only 3% of the 1,000 applicants who audition for places each year. Graduates go on to pursue successful careers in theatre, film and television, with recent highlights including, Claire Foy winning an Emmy this year for The Crown, Richard Gadd winning Edinburgh Comedy Award 2016 and Babou Ceesay starring in Damilola Our Loved Boy and Guerrilla.
